Lee O'Connell

I am taking the MS Mighty Swim challenge!

I'm raising money to support people living with multiple sclerosis! I’m inspired by the work the MS Society SA & NT do for people living with MS, and I want to help them make a difference! Please sponsor me today by giving whatever you can. Every little bit will help me reach my fundraising goal!

The more people that know about the MS Society, the greater the impact. So please spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you for your generous support, it means a lot!

My Updates

Mighty TEAM MS

The 17th Annual MS Mighty Swim is over for another year , what an amazing event it was.  We were blessed with near perfect weather , great organisation by the MS Society, ongoing generosity by the City of Unley sponsoring the use of the beautiful Unley Pool, fantastic support of Nathan Byles and the staff at the Unley Pool  and importantly the outstanding commitment and fundraising of all the teams and especially the Mighty  TEAM MS - we again won the prize for the most successful fundraising  team . Thanks to all our loyal supporters. At present our total is sitting just below $20,000 so if you haven't yet supported this event please sponsor me so TEAM MS can surpass the $20,000 .

Captaining the Mighty Team MS

After a very tough 2021 it is great to have a positive event to turn my time, passion and energy towards.
The 17th Annual MS 24 hr Mighty Swim is to be held on the weekend of April 9-10, 2022. Covid issues have resulted in the event being run a  couple of months later than usual. We are still hoping for good weather, a great turn out and of course a significant fundraising total.
For the 17th year I am again captaining Team MS. A team of people with MS or other disabilities who always amaze me with their enthusiasm, commitment to the event and their achievements over and above what many of them expect or believe they can do. Many of them overcome significant obstacles to even attend the event let alone swim as many laps or kms as they do.They are  inspirational and hence my passion to continue to be involved in the MS Mighty Swim
Thanks to all have previously supported this very worthwhile cause and if you feel you can contribute again please do so through the link below

Thank you to my Sponsors
